He said that the last bastion controlled by the terrorists in Baghdad has fell in the hands of the US and Iraqi forces. The Iraqis can smell it and taste it - it is just about over. Notwithstanding the bombs today, the end is near. They will have their country back and we will have a battle-tested ally right in the heart of the Middle East. Thousands of young Iraqi army men who have developed relationships with thousands of US soldiers. This is al Qaeda and bin Laden's worst nightmare. This is why they knew they could never allow Iraq to be pacified by the US. Now, not only have we pacified it, but they unwittingly have caused the entire population to revulse them. This is not just a victory. This will be considered one day one of the most important and decisive victories against terror the world has ever known.

... and yet, we will now go and elect a Dimocrat president. Utterly baffling.

I think we’d agree that today’s bombing using two mentally handicapped women will only strengthen the hate the Iraqi people have come to have for al Qaeda.
