Know what was really great? When Noam Chomsky decided to have his own blog.
It kind of appeared that Noam wasn’t all that sure about what the “intra-net” was or what and how a blog/blogsite was run, ‘cause anyone could post whatever they wanted to.
Including a crew from LGF and a few FReepers, who amongst other things, took to copying the entire running list of responses and re-posting it again and again and again.
Took Chompers a couple of days to at least hire a mod service.
(sigh...) good, old, times.
I posted this below, let’s see if it gets through. It is true, with no exaggeration.
‘I’ve had 70+ flights over the past 1.5 years. Normally, things go smoothly. But, about 10 times, I’ve had my ID checked by a Muslim women in Muslim dress. I’m I the only one worried about this? Is this a politically correct means of trying not to offend Muslims? Couldn’t a person sympathetic to radical Muslims in this position allow someone through without proper ID?
This has happened to me in Dallas-Ft.Worth, Las Vegas, and Denver airports. This actually wories me.
Not only that, but it’s an insult to the victims of 9/11 in that airport security is now in the hands of Muslims.’
I just wish we could get everyone who hates this stupid security theater to not fly for just one week.
