“Oil of oregano is antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic. It also has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects “
The last paragraph of the article:
CDC has found flu affecting most of the country but widespread outbreaks in Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Kansas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
I have been using oil of oregano for awhile now and I will also say it is very effective for bronchitis problems. I get it at the local health food/herbal store. You can buy it pre mixed with virgin olive oil, or you can buy it full strength and mix it yourself with the olive oil....which is a whole lot cheaper (mix it a ratio of 4 parts olive oil to 1 part oregano). I don’t buy the North American brand.
Thank you.
Your welcome. I have run out myself and don’t think about it cause I don’t need it like I used to but I like it in the house anyway. (How is that for a run on sentence!)
Your welcome and I hope you feel your best real soon.
Thanks so much.
Everyone in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana has the flu. Every single person. Their dogs and cats have it, too.
My daughter has a hermit crab in her room. He may or may not have it.
Fascinating!!!
I love reading up on these herbal remedies!

I’ve read that honey can never go bad, does this apply here as well. Can someone pregant take this. I’ve had really painful heartburn for the last couple months because of baby. So sick of Tums.
Also, may I ask, where do you find out all this information?
At vitacost.com, where I purchase most of my vitamins and organic products, they has for sale:
North American Herb & Spice Oil Of Oregano — 0.45 oz
for $18.00. Is this the brand you are referring to?
Man O Man. I'm gonna stay home.
Hearburn? Don’t take tums! Your Ph is off. Go to www.healthline.cc and call them - there stuff is pure, pure, pure! Also, the reps on the phone are quite knowledgeable - if you tell them about your heartburn and being pregnant - they will direct you want you need.
Not sure where you live but they are in Tx and CA.
As far as the honey - the shelf life is there. It’s Manuka Honey - bio active 10 or above. Their website is something like manukahoney - usa just google it and you’ll find it.
Yes - that’s the brand and that’s a good price!! The regular price for that size is $29.95. I just bought a bottle yesterday at my local health food store.
Thanks, maybe I’ll go to the that site and order one more bottle.
Vitacost is a superior site!! They have a $5.00 standard shipping, so if you are need of anything else, I highly recommend them.... get more bang for your buck.
They have sooooooo much stuff.
if you get acquainted with healthline - you will be made aware of some stuff that they put in supplements are not good for you. They call them tag alongs and they are toxins. I only learned of this recently.
If it works, start a post and tell us.
I’m a BIG fan of the pharma business, and they do some pretty amazing things. I also know that vested interest makes people do some pretty bad things.
If this stuff is effective, people should know about it.
I know that the Airborne stuff that the teacher made is VERY effective.
Is healthline the place you obtained your knowledge of herbs or was there some other source?
