I am looking for election stories and all I see is one McCain piece after another. It’s incredible.

First, he's going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Then, there will be an expose of former POW's who mount a Swift Boat campaign against him and annihilate his "hero" status. Then there will exposes about his temper, leading to questions about his emotional instability and "ability to lead on Day One." Then, in the tradition of fighting "racism" and "gender", they will bring up his age--and "ageism" will be the new code word for his inability to be a competent President.

However, I don't feel that everyone voting for McCain is just a lemming taking orders from the MSM. Romney hasn't done much to make himself likable. He, too, has a sarcastic edge to his humor that is not particularly attractive. His hair is always perfect and his suits have made him look like an undertaker. He, literally, is not the kind of guy you can go out for a beer with. Forget the average independent...the average Republican would have a hard time befriending him. W. Bush was the rancher-next-door in so many ways. I don't think that Romney ever lived in a subdivision or went to public school. He's a rich kind with all the trimmings and none of the self-sacrifice or failure. And the Mormonism doesn't help. It's really too bad because it feels like he should have contacted Frank Luntz from the beginning and marketed himself to the average voter, not the average CEO.

Yep. As soon as Hillary is nominated, the MSM will declare open season on McCain. Everything you disliked about him will start to appear on print and on the radio. Watch then what happen to Mr. Electable.

John McCain’s buddy Mike Huckabee accepted more than $110,000 in gifts alone in 1999 as governor. A long list of gifts over that he has accepted over the years include furniture, interior design services, car repair.

the MSM ..

The MSM has a way of transferring THEIR likes and preferences onto the masses.

Because they admire McCain, they think all Republicans and some Democrats will also.

It becomes an echo chamber..
