You’re making the same dangerous bet that he is. A bet that he and you will lose. Look at what happened to DeWine in Ohio in `06. He lost to a flaming liberal because conservatives in Ohio like me refused to vote for a backstabbing McCain sycophant. DeWine had simply carried McCain’s water one time too many with the Gang of 14 suck-up.

Yeah, yeah, I know, just like virtually everyone here said about Bush in 2000. Then Bush picked Cheney. Bush, who all in all is probably no better than McCain. Both centrist suck-ups who'd sell the party out for votes, except for a few core issues, which I think McCain might even have Bush beat on, since McCain might actually veto something.
