So your take is the witch will win the Rat nomination, even though the demon old guard is rallying around Obama?

What if they succeed in putting Obama in place?

Still advocate swallowing the 'blue pill' and voting for McShamnesty?

We also received this message. Now if it were true and this listed items were EXACTLY what John McCain would do and truly intended to do he would not doubt get my vote. Unfortunately facts are a tough thing! He also mentioned, "I have a 24-year record to prove it."

That is the sticking point. John McCain has no such record to prove any of what he listed above and if he is lying here, he is also lying about everything else listed if not most of it.

The facts of John's record show he has handicapped the GOP compared to the Democrats with McCain-Feingold. John McCain was one of two senators to reject the Bush tax cuts. John McCain was a senator when they ran up the massive spending in Washington.

John McCain has made fun of the 'loud' conservatives more then once, especially on issues regarding pushing hard and vocally for conservative judges that have a history of strict interpretation of the constitution. John McCain's record shows he is not only not a friend of these sort of positions he is stating he will follow through with, but that John McCain is also no friend to the GOP or conservatives.

I have not even mentioned McCain's Z-Visa for all illegals without the border fence or stopping the huge influx of illegal aliens into our country or the stopping of tax monies, welfare, free health care, and free schooling for all illegals. Facts are a tough thing John. And them the facts.

We can fight McCain through our Congressman and Senators. Hillary will just create law with the stroke of a pen. She knows she can do whatever she wants and never worry about being impeached.

We have proven that we will step in and stop one of our own. Nixon left because his own party would have voted to impeach. That will never happen with the Democrats. Never.

mccain hates the Free Republic as much as hillary does. He would write that same letter just as quickly as hillary would.

mccain hates conservative talk radio as much as hillary does. He would re-enact the Fairness Doctrince just as quickly as hillary would.

Mitt beat him good in Maine tonight.
And, I’m praying my feeling that more
things are yet to play out by November
isn’t wishful thinking.

“I’ll secure our border first before pursuing any other
immigration reform.”

What does THAT mean? What OTHER immigration reform? Put up a fence, don’t enforce/contorl it, legalize everyone who’s here?

Without talk radio and FR there will be no way to fight her.

Doug, I too have your fear. It is sickening how McCain is waltzing in. If it gets as bad as your fear, its always good to know we are on the side with the guns. People will be shaken to their soul once they realize the true value of the 2nd Amendment. Our Founders were the greatest group of men to ever form a government.

You hope the arrogant RNC is destroyed? You don’t have to hope. If Hillary gets back into the White House, our country is going to change forever. There really will be no way to fight her.

The thing though...McCain never ever says he will send a person home, it is always secure the borders first. he never says what next.

From his phone message: "I'll secure our border first before pursuing any other immigration reform." Assuming for the moment that he's not lying outright about actually securing the border first, he states his next intention is "immigration reform."

Although he repeats every day that that does not mean amnesty, I think we're all quite aware of what he considers "immigration reform" to be -- he spelled it out plainly in a bill last summer.

What true, values-driven conservative would
vote for former ACLU attorney, Ruth Bader Ginsberg?

My instincts tell me you are right on the money. McCain has the vengeful type of personality that will compel him to lash out viciously at conservatives. It will be interesting times indeed.

I dislike McCain but I do believe that most conservative Senators did vote for her because the Republicans believed that Clinton had a right to nominate his own Justices. They thought that, when we got back the WH, we would be accorded the same congeniality from the Dem Senators. The Dems have been particularly vindictive ever since Gore lost. And he really DID lose the Electoral College numbers. The Dems have been out for blood ever since. We need to retain the WH and if McCain is our nominee, I will vote for him. I can complain about him a lot but I don’t think his vote to confirm Ginsburg was unusual.

I received the same call today here in GA. I didn't answer the phone after I saw the caller ID, but the message left on the answering machine was exactly the same as the one you quoted.

To say that I was underwhelmed would be a gross understatement of the fact.

Then they ALL need to be replaced. Democrats do not play fair. Never have. Never will. How many times do they have to fall for that crap? When good compromises with evil, it is only evil that will profit.

He cast his vote with the other
naive Pubbie lemmings. Only 3 Pubbies
were sharp enough to resist the
collegiality syndrome and did the
right thing. That’s what’s so sickening ..
our congresscritters are total wusses.
