this a landmine alright...for anyone foolish enough to try and use it against McLame in a campaign.
I don't like McCain but this style of hit job is remarkably cute. "I'm a fine upstanding conservative(who just happens to support the other guy) did you hear ? I would *never* be crass enough to tell it. but those liberals might!".
Lord protect me from my friends, my enemies I can handle

This is just a warmup to what the DNC and their MSM allies will do to any republican.

It’s pretty incendiary...although I know that doesn’t mean it isn’t true...
I’m not voting for him for more run of the mill reasons - like immigration.

The Clintons wouldnt touch this with a ten-foot pole.
I presume you say that because you think it would blow up in the Clintons face if they did touch it, and not because you think that the Clintons have any morals.
However, there is more than one way they could use it.
If McCain really didn't want this out, they can threaten him with it (blackmail, in a word.)
They can tease him via surogates with tasty morsels of this, driving him one step closer to the edge. By some folks accounting, John McCain won't need that many more steps to reach the edge.

You know...I was fortunate to meet, and mingle with, many returning POWS.
Not only that, but I know a lot of Viet Nam vets personally.
I know of no one who supports him.
In fact, I know many vets who feel betrayed by him.
McCain should not be trusted with anything WRT our national sedurity.

major KOOK alert
from his website
What if you had a “Personal Source” for understanding what’s really going on in the world? Now you do. He’s Dr. Jack Wheeler, and for only about 29 cents a day, he’ll give you mind-stretching pro-America insights on our lives, our politics, and our world that you just aren’t going to get anywhere else.
“Dr. Jack” predicted the collapse of the former Soviet Union, ten years before it came about - and explained exactly how it would take place. He won a bet with a top-expert when the Berlin Wall fell. In To The Point, he’ll tell you about the plans the Chinese Underground Church Movement has to send 100,000 Chinese Christian missionaries to the Middle East to convert Moslem Arabs to Christianity.

Do you think Obama or Hillary will be any better than McCain on immigration?
I don't. And they would be a lot worse on terrorism. I am still hoping for Romney but if McCain is the nominee then I will vote for him.
To: ThePythonicCow
This is very interesting, but not really surprising, is it? The Clintons have fatally damaging information that they will ruthlessly use to destroy an opponent at a moment’s notice? No kidding.
I won’t vote for McCain, ever, because I genuinely believe him to be a deeply disturbed individual who has no business in any public office, much less as Commander-in-chief. At least Hillary, though a grasping, power-addicted misanthrope, is more or less sane.
I remember during the campaign of 2000, his rants against Bush, as the campaign wore on and the pressure grew, became studies in paranoid delusion. “That HURT me, George”, he would say over and over through clenched teeth as Bush tried to calm him. The guy’s a walking time bomb. How did he get so close to the nomination?
To: ari-freedom
Not that I’m for McCain, but if he is completely unhinged then why would he get endorsements from some really solid people - like Ted Olson?

"Why would McCain so publicly embrace North Vietnamese government types? Why would McCain help bury the POW's in the US Senate?"
Business interests!
Look for yourself.
In this respect, I consider him traitorous
Lordy...I'm amazed at folks who don't look in that direction first.

I disagree that Jack Wheeler is a KOOK. He may have a style of promoting himself that raises honest doubts in many, and his predictions of the future are sometimes wrong (whose aren't), but from what I can tell, he does get his facts of what has happened fairly accurate, as best as I can tell.
Of course, you could be right here, and I wrong.

maybe because mccain really is a solid guy and those against him, like Ann Coulter and Dr Jack are unhinged?
Then again, it may all be a big global conspiracy. Watch out for the NWO and black helicopters!

I might vote for him too, in that case.
I oscillate back and forth, if its Hillary vs McCain, between:
- voting Hillary, for the reasons Ann Coulter gives,
- voting McCain, because I must stop Hillary at all costs, and
- kicking the voting machine so hard I break a toe.

Cult like folks in DC.
And, power hungry.
That’s all you need to know.
Heck...they might want to control all of us.
Ya’ think?

Really? Gee, silly little old me. I can't believe those nice Clintons would ever be so mean as to bring up this kind of stuff. /sarc
Seriously...do you think that I, or any of the people on this board, are so naive as to believe that the Democrats will not use any dirty trick to win? I have been watch politics in this country most of my 60 years and have seen many dirty tricks pulled in campaigns.
Remember those FBI files that were stored in Hillary's bedroom at the White House? I am willing to bet she checked out all the potential rivals for her run for President while she was living in the White House.

I don't know ... wish I did. I trust people like Ted Olson, and when he comes to the opposite conclusion from what I did, I pay close attention, hoping to learn why.
