I wonder if making them go into Oakland would be construted as “Cruel and Unusual Punishment” by the Leftists on the 9th Circuit Court?

I actually enjoyed MTP today.

Mary was the voice of reason and held her own.

James is licking his chops at the prospect of a McCain nomination.

Did anyone here Timmy when he said something about conservatives favoring torture?

He got drowned out.

Also - I thought the poll numbers he used were lame.

If Rush does NOT talk about the upcoming race he will lose his listeners. Go on. He’s a TALK SHOW HOST...of the political kind.

If he DOES talk about the upcoming presidential race, which he will unless he decides to retire, what, you think he’s suddenly going to be nice about McCain? You don’t think his callers are gonna nail him if he does?

If you think that Rush, Mark Levin, et al, are gonna tout McCain like they did, say Bush Dubya, I gotta bridge to sell.

They can’t say nothing because it would be to effectively quit their jobs.

I’m very suspicious of........hmmmmmm......

He needs to drop that crap about Rummy completely.

He can't control himself. On his best day, he's 1/10th the intellect that Rumsfeld is and it eats him alive. He hates Rumsfeld with all the passion of a jealous lover.

I love the fact that Rummy hasn't said a word in response. Even in his absence, the man exudes nothing but class and grace. Two traits John McCain will never be able to comprehend.

Nope.

I think a lot of these shows prep the day before, so I think they’re out of the loop.

No recruiters? Ok, NO FEDERAL MONEY then. No Post Offices, No Student Grants and Loans, No Fed aid to your police force, no Food Stamps, No Wic, No SS checks etc etc etc etc.

Doesn't the University of California at Berkeley get lots of research grants from the Defense Department? Is the Lawrence/Livermore laboratory still functioning?

LOL - My thoughts exactly!

I think he’s a smart guy - but when I saw him this morning, I thought:

“Shave and a haircut...two cents!”

Bingo -

I’m not surprised by those numbers.

I was watching MTP this morning and was surprised how most of the panel marginalized the base.

Didn’t they learn their lesson after McAmnesty?

Well - let’s get back to the trenches...

Your comment is so very true. and very well expressed may I add?

You nailed it and I’m so glad somebody does.

for McCain hates Rumsfeld to a point that it’s positively unhealthy. And this factoid is very germane, I’d argue.

For McCain’s obsession and hatred is so visceral that who’s to say he won’t base much of his foreign policy doing the OPPOSITE of what Rumsfeld would do or, indeed, UNDOING what Rumsfeld did?

I’m a True Crime afficiando. I read a lot about obsessive personalities. I’m not particularly proud of it and I don’t think it makes me better than anyone else. But like so many of you yonder know so much more about, say, football than The Wise I, give me that I can spot a serious personality disorder a mile away.

McCain has problems. Serious, serious problems.

This is why I don’t think Rush will sit on the sidelines with this because hey, Rush Limbaugh is at least as smart as me! And I truly believe Rush when he says that he has the promotion of conservatism as his life goal and he’ll not give up until everyone in America thinks like him. Rush is already wealthy. He doesn’t need McCain or Romney’s money. Or Hillary’s either.

did I ever tell you I gotta personal email from Rush?

Someday...when I’m over my McCain anger.

Someday I’ll tell you all about those radio talk show host guys. Damn I got so many good stories...

My husband says to me...”You know everybody that’s anybody in Sussex County but nobody knows who the hell you are.”

He’s right!

I just wanna be a good citizen who helps steer this country on a better course for my precious granddaughter.

And somehow, if there’s anything going on some kinda way I end up in front of the camera.

Did I tell you last week I got interviewed by WBOC...Fox21 of Delmarva? I was volunteering at the GOP headquarters in Georgetown and they needed somebody to talk about the President’s state of the union speech.

what, me...talk about politics? I combed my hair and yes indeed, right out there on the street with everybody wondering who the hell I was I’m getting interviewed.

And I had an opinion, yes I did.

Well husband and I both watched this affiliate. I got the bz card and they told me I would be on at 6 pm. Well I watched at 6p and 7p and 11p. It turns out this Fox21 I think it’s called, has TV stations in Merryland, and Delaware and on all kinds of channels.

I never saw my fine self talking and it would turn out that I HAD watched the SOTU, does this surprise anyone? But I don’t know whether it was on or not but they know me....they know I’m out here.

“Bennett lost me the other day when he said he’d hold his nose and vote for McCain.”

I’m hoping that if McCain is the nominee that he picks a really great VP. We may need one.

I will vote for the Republican, period.

That is what McCain is counting on. And precisely why we're in the mess we are now.

I notice that it seems standard though I doubt it will be for the current President that Americans tend to call people by the last position they held such as Secretary this or that, Mr Speaker, President etc. Has this always been or is it something that evolved over the last half of the 20th century.
