Do you think McCain will choose a strong conservative for a running mate? It would be the smart thing for him to do.

Without saying it, then we could possibly vote for this nut with the possibility that the old codger might wind up giving us a viable pres. after all. May sound a little callous, but hell, we all got to go sometime.

Do you think McCain will choose a strong conservative for a running mate? It would be the smart thing for him to do.

I'm concerned that he'd be consistent and pick someone more to the left. He's had a history of flipping off conservatives and I honestly believes he's going to run on the basis of that he can win without them. That premise will be shattered when all of the left that has been cheering him on as of late simply pull the carpet out from beneath his feet and leave him flat for Obama or the beast herself.

I mean, what your suggesting would be a good move. Judging by McCain's history? Well, I just don't think he's inclined towards appeasing the right.
