It's All Over: Liberals Officially Take Over "24" (Libs kill the last GOP-friendly show)
The Liberty Film Festival ^ | 2-3-08 | Libertas

Posted on 02/03/2008 7:46:42 PM PST by DesScorp

Liberals make and promote and distribute and champion films about assassinating Bush, sex with animals, and sympathizing with child molesters, but it’s torture to save American lives which most offends them. How so very revealing…

It is over. Conservatives will no longer have even a single show on network television anymore.

Not. Even. One.

In a heartbreaking Wall Street Journal article, the death of 24 as we knew and loved it has arrived in the form of a left-wing “reinvention” which is obviously determined to remove everything which made the series special: it’s unabashed patriotism and determination to protect that which is most worth protecting, America and Americans, at any cost.

My opinion, exactly. I understand that they are attempting to attract a female audience to what is essentially a “guy thing,” but all they really do is mess up a pretty good action show.

On “Chuck” the last time, the CIA woman was briefing her field agents and she said something about the Russian KGB agents finding themselves out of work in the ‘90s, to which Adam Baldwin (no relation, and a conservative in real life) replied, “Yeah, thanks to President Reagan winning the Cold War.” They do use his love of Reagan to make him kind of over-the-top and gung ho, but it doesn’t feel mean-spirited. It’s essential an apolitical show.

Heres show we should fight for, to get on the MSM.

Exposing Hillary’s Illegalities In Los Angeles Court To Begin Feb. 21 2008!

The Hillary Clinton Accountability Project will shortly launch its fundraising drive to raise $500,000 to support the most important citizen’s legal initiative of 2008. The landmark civil fraud suit of Paul v Clinton et al which the California Supreme Court ordered to proceed against the Clintons, Grammys Producer Gary Smith and Clinton agent Jim Levin, will be set for trial and a discovery schedule at a special conference to be held in Los Angeles Superior Court on February 21, 2008.

The first law suit in American history to bring a President and a Senator to court for defrauding the Senator’s largest campaign donor and his public company will be set for trial and discovery at the Case Management Conference before Judge Munoz. Discovery and depositions of key witnesses, including the Clinton family, Al Gore, Ed Rendell, Terry McAuliffe, Harold Ickes, Howard Wolfson, Kelly Craighead, Barbara Streisand, Brad Pitt, Larry King, Mike Wallace among an array of political and entertainment leaders, will present an inside look at a culture of corruption that will shock the public.

Producers would later experience trouble casting roles, once some of the most desirable in television, because the actors disapproved of the show’s depiction of torture. “The fear and wish-fulfillment the show represented after 9/11 ended up boomeranging against us,” says the show’s head writer, Howard Gordon. “We were suddenly facing a blowback from current events.”

What a load of crap. On any given day, 99% of hollywood is currently looking for its next acting gig. Most of them would sell their family into slavery for even a couple of episodes of work on a prime time show like 24, even if it went against their precious liberal viewpoints.

Is “personal trainer” the new word for gigolo?

As a female, I can tell you that I love a good action show, and it’s offensive that these producers/writers think I will only watch it if they put it soap opera romance in it.

Yep. That’s another series I wish had been given a longer run. Great cast with good chemistry and excellent writing. Just a jolly-good fun romp. There aren’t too many shows in which the entire cast seems to compliment each other that well.

Good show, but I just have a hard time getting past the Allstate guy as being a hardcore military type.

I saw a recent video clip of Dennis Haysbert supporting Obama, right along with the rest of the Hollywood glitterati (other than the ones supporting our former First Bitch).

In other words, he really wasn't that guy we used to see on "24" and he really isn't "Jonas".

Just another Hollywood liberal puke.
