Nearly two dozen House incumbents were outraised by their opponents and another dozen candidates established themselves as early frontrunners for newly open seats late last week as fourth quarter financial reports were due. Among the members on the short end of the fundraising battle in October, November and December were Republican Reps. Don Young (R-Alaska), Sam Graves (R-Mo.) and Dave Reichert (R-Wash.), as well as five vulnerable Democratic freshmen.
The Democratic freshmen overall continued to raise strong amounts of money, with 20 of them cracking $1 million raised for the year, and all of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committees (DCCC) Frontliners had over $500,000 cash on hand.
Some GOP challengers sent messages with their reports, though, and Democratic freshman Reps. Harry Mitchell (Ariz.), Carol Shea-Porter (N.H.), Christopher Carney (Pa.), Nick Lampson (Texas) and Steve Kagen (Wis.) all saw their fundraising fall behind the paces of their foes.

Hopefully, the Congressional elections will go better than the Presidential one is.
Flush them all like the turds that they are. Citizen government, remember?
RHINO’s?
People fed up with RHINO’s?
The Republican base has been increasingly discouraged. So it would not be surprising if they are tuning out. I’m not advocating that, just commenting on it.
And there’s no use getting mad at the voters. If a party keeps kicking its supporters, they have to expect some bad results.
I am planning to vote on the other lines, even if it turns out that I can’t vote for the presidential candidate. But a lot of people will just stay home. What else can be expected?
Most of these guys are in Republican strongholds! There is no way that the Demorats could take their seats even if the republicans didn’t campaign!
Yeah...let’s all “hide and watch” and see what happens.
Page not found....through link.
I keep getting a “page not found” when I click on the link, so I can’t say I have read it, but all I got when I wrote to my representative here in Colorado about a veteran’s issue last year, all I got in return was to be added to his spammy newsletter.
No actual reply. I guess he’s too busy.
So, next time he gets neither my vote nor my money. I’m too busy to vote for him or write a check from here on out.
Why should anybody send them money to get re-elected? The only things that they have been able to do is raise the minimum wage and make incandescent light bulbs illegal.
RE-ELECT NO ONE!
The more I observe politics, the more I think that we just dispensed with elections and just chose elected positions in the same manner as jury duty selects us (random drawing), we would have a govt no worse than now and likely a lot better.
