Boston Globe is a totally democrat paper.

That would be a good point if it were not for the fact
that all the papers in Boston report it, and they both dislike Romney.

“The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to New Hampshire Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.”

- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006

“Romney arrived on the scene with great promise,
but is leaving the Republican Party here in shambles.
Not only are the Republicans yielding the governor’s office
for the first time in 16 years, but registered Republicans
have fallen by 31,000 since Romney took office,
and their legislative presence is at historic lows.
But it worked out fine for him:
He is now chasing the prize he really covets, the presidency.”"

- Boston Globe 11/8/2006

RINO Romney loved his illegal aliens while he was Gov of Mass Now there are more of them and all needing free RomneyCare

Well, if Romney gets elected they won't have to go to Massachusetts for it.

And Romney wants all the states to adopt “universal healthcare” programs, using our federal tax dollars as incentive.

Maybe he'll flip flop on it tomorrow.

Romney flip flops like Kerry, and lies like Clinton.

Not sure either of them would put down amateur radio, though.

Romney "Disses" Amateur Radio In Televised Town Meeting (and why he won't get my vote)

And this postpartum boondoggle is precisely why I can’t find a way off the Huckabee bandwagon. If Romney really is as conservative as he sounds on the campaign trail, then he surely governed weakly from a position of incredibly profound weakness, a position from which I prefer not to see in my President.

Here's your Huckabee border enforcement record:

Huckabee blasts immigrant bill as ‘race-baiting’

BY DAVID HAMMER ASSOCIATED PRESS

Posted on Friday, January 28, 2005

Gov. Mike Huckabee said Thursday that a bill to deny state government benefits and voting rights to illegal immigrants is "inflammatory... race-baiting and demagoguery."He challenged the Christian values of its main sponsor.

The governor said the bill "inflames those who are racist and bigots and makes them think there's a real problem. But there's not."

Sens. Jim Holt of Springdale and Denny Altes of Fort Smith, whose Northwest Arkansas region includes the state's fastest growing Hispanic population, filed the measure, Senate Bill 206.

Huckabee, a Baptist minister and a Republican like Holt and Altes, said Arkansans should be welcoming hardworking immigrants of all races.

Slandering conservatives (me included) as bigoted race-baiters for attempting to stop the invasion of our country. Does he really believe someone is wrong for attempting to deny voting rights to illegal aliens?

These people he was attacking were Republicans who were attempting to pass a conservative measure into law.

I would expect such garbage from Hillary or Harry Reid, but not from a Republican presidential candidate (except perhaps McCain).

Disgusting!

There's more if you care to look. But you won't!

the reality is that Romney vetoed some parts of the healthcare plan, such as the mandates for employers and the penalties for non compliance. These were overrided by the liberal legistlature. They did change his plan quite a bit...that’s reality. Of course Romney opponents falsely blame him.

Uh... How could they have known about today’s state projections a year ago? Let me guess, you also bashed the media for not reporting in 2000 that Sept 11 was going to happen in 2001?

Uh, you must work for the government, right? Where new systems are not subject to a cost analysis to include projections into later years that are realistic? You think everything just comes together at the drop of a hat?

My comment was directed to the fact that these initial PROJECTIONS, wrong or not, were probably cheered on by the Globe just so "universal" healthcare could be implemented.

Next time I'll write at a grade level you can understand.

He tried to keep it as a free(if regulated) market. That’s much different from Hillary’s single payer plan with the US gov as the single payer and a nationalized system. The competition among insurers and provider will help keep the costs down.

Reminds me of when he was running for governor and wanted the 'age of consent' to be 18 as opposed to 16. He positioned himself slightly to the right of a raging socialist. A real profile in courage.

The state is demanding taxpayers from other states shoulder roughly half of the program's cost

There. Fixed it. HillaryCare at its finest.

So now the Feds are being asked to bailout this program?

Yes, of course. That was the plan from the start. And that is how we will end up with socialized medicine in this country: one state at a time.
