“If you dont want John McCain or Hillary Clinton to be President of the United States, the only choice is to vote for Mitt Romney in the GOP primary.”
I have my custom made Romney sign in hand, and am heading out to vote. Also praying hard that MANY others will do the same, understanding that how we vote today, decides what our choice in November is.

In and out in 10 min here in Murray County. Had to laugh...the guy ahead of me was telling a lady who was walking out that he was usually a Democrat but he was crossing over this time since the Dems were all so bad.
Voting was by touch screen machines, which seemed to work well. Then again, this isn’t really a politically charged area where there’d be a lot of tampering...things are very civil past locals.
Brand new InsiderAdvantage poll has Huckabee tied with McCain in Georgia ... with Romney just a few points back.
Very interesting. We’ll see how it comes out.
Also showed Huckabee leading McCain by 9 in Alabama.
Referring to your post #31.... well said! I totally agree.
Isakson and Chambliss can count their days in the Senate as numbered. I too hope that Herman Cain runs. He would sure have my vote.
By the way, I just returned from voting and was a bit disappointed that there was not more of a crowd at the polls. Only one other voter there when I arrived (an Alpharetta precinct)
EEEEW. I don’t like the sound of that at all. I’ve stayed away from the news and FR today to keep from obsessing about it.....
Nope I live there too.
Polls just closed. I got in with an hour and a half to spare.
CNN projects Obama for the D and too close to call on the R. I was just about to predict that there would be a fast call, but they called it before I could type it,
I’m glad I voted for Herman Cain.
I’m not happy with the “too close to call”. I also heard on satellite radio in the car that McCain picked up NJ, CT and IL. This doesn’t bode well for us.
With two teenaged girls in the house it’s hard to find a television that we can put on the news channel. I’ll probably have to go hide in my room to watch.
“then we can concentrate on getting rid of McCain collaborators Isakson and Chambliss.”
No kidding. The divide between our U.S. & State rep’s is very telling.
“I think the powers that be, need to come up with a rotating primary schedule so that the states that have late primary dates have a chance to cast their votes too.”
A “fair vote” proposal is already in the making, to be proposed at the GOP convention. Thank goodness!
I like your thread, and your post. It describes what MANY Conservatives are feeling and the angst we go through just to cast our vote.
Not be rude, but, you should have voted your principles, which would be Hunter. I say that even being a TRUE FRedhead. LOL
BTW, I voted for FRed!

Here is the live thread for county-by-country. Fulton looks to be very early right now. Huck doing well in rural areas.
Just who's in charge? No, wait, scratch that. I was never a teenaged girl, but I have a little sister, and that is a hell I would not want to wade into.
CNN is now calling GA for Huckabee. That surprises me a bit. I'm guessing he picked up big numbers in the middle and south of the state; I don't think he got a lot from Metro Atlanta or the appalachian north.
Ah, Mr. ReignofError, with two teenaged girls AND American Idol, no adult is ever in charge!
I really wanted to vote for Hunter. He’s been my first choice since I first heard about him last year. I have a picture of myself wearing my Hunter ‘08 t-shirt and holding my very first handgun - a Sig 232. (Best Mother’s Day ever.)
Unfortunately, whether I voted Hunter or Romney, it looks like the McCain special is still rolling along.
Looks like Huckabee took Georgia. Did he make a deal with the devil? Or did JimRob’s idea of forcing a brokered convention catch fire?

I think it was the Fair Tax Crowd. Huck needs to write a thank-you note the Neal Boortz (that is, before he lies prostrate at McCain’s feet.)
I hadn't even thought about the Boortz angle, but you're right -- he has a big local audience built over almost 40 years, and the Fair Tax is his pet cause. He wrote the book on it, and I don't mean that figuratively.
