Fred was lock step with McCain on McCain-Feingold.

And Fred, unlike McPain and FindGold, said his vote was a mistake because of the unintended consequnces of the bill.

Trying to make that comparison falls way short.

Just like saying that Huck is a conservative because he supports the 2d Amendment (which any Ark pol has to), and right to life.

In a state that takes corrput politicians for granted, Huck has had more than his fair share of ethics investigations--some of which he has been found guilty of.

Do you accept the “conversions” of other candidates as freely as you accept Fred’s?

Romney’s abortion conversion?

Hucksters immigration conversion?

There’s a disturbing tendency by some folks around here to only accept the conversions of their pet candidates.
