Huh? Don’t kid yourself. This is purely a McCain victory. Romney led early, Huck trailed badly, then the McCain people switched their votes.

Grow up all you Walter Mittys, it’s called coalition politics and it’s been here since the dawn of the Republic.

Romney led early, Huck trailed badly, then the McCain people switched their votes.Trailed badly? IIRC the first vote was 41% to 33%. I wouldn't call that a landslide.

Don’t kid yourself if you think Willard has any chance of winning the nomination. Of course, you were someone that was supporting Giuliani and you fooled yourself into thinking he had a chance.

Romney led early, Huck trailed badly, then the McCain people switched their votes. I just heard Dan Abrahms on MSNBC say that the McCain people were instructed to change their vote to Huckabee to deny Romney a win.

The depths of the support for Huck is transparent at best in this latest “win”, painfully obvious here at FR to more than a few.
A vote for McCain is a vote for Huck is a vote for McCain..
A new chapter in collusion and dirty politics is being written and it has clinton all over it.. albeit this is supposedly in a Republican contest.
History will not be kind to the GOP and its raftloads of pretenders to the ideals that long served the party well, nor should it be.

So why is the pastor proclaiming that he’s not in bed with the McCain team, acting as the spoiler?

Congressional district and at-large delegates are elected in the primary. Delegates may run as committed to a particular candidate or as uncommitted. Delegates are not bound by the results of the presidential preference primary; however, committed delegates are bound for 1st ballot."
It will be interesting to see how that translates into the first round convention ballot.

FIRST VOTE: HUCKABEE 33%, McCAIN 16%
SECOND VOTE: HUCKABEE 52%, McCAIN 1%
Nothing suspicious here. Move along.

This is just further evidence that most supporters of Huckabee and McCain can't stand Mr. %50Abortions and will not vote for him. Not even 10% of McCain supporters would go over to $50Abortions. LOL
