Of course, I knew someone would do it....

So who was the first to say it was Bush’s fault?

I blame dips in the price of Microsoft stock on the rainfall in Tibet ...about as much correlation as between farcical Global Warming and tornadoes.

And the Chinese are blaming their longest lasting blizzard in 100 years on the La Nina cooling Pacific.

You're not suppose to ask those kinds of questions, comrade.

Yeah, it's kind of 'inconvenient', isn't it? ;o)

BTW, I like your screen name. Our son had a temp job at WalMart over the Christmas Season, and we called him the WalMartian.

"I'm sure my passing gas can be blamed on global warming."

Certainly it can. At pre-global warming temperatures, the air was cooler, and consequently more dense, hence your ambient air pressure was higher. Since temps have gone up, the molecules in the warmer air are not packed so tightly. Your internal pressure has consequently risen in relationship to the surrounding air causing the expulsion of your bodily gasses in order to equalize the pressure. In other words, the colder, heavier air was holding your fart in.

The one thing we have going for us is a remnant of truly
devoted Christians in the nation. Much of the church is weak, immanciated, dead, and even abominable. The spirit
of worldliness has reaped havoc within the church and many have become liberal oriented. Sin will
always bring reproach upon a nation. God is patient and long-suffering; however, I believe He will have to bring
judgment in an attempt to get our attention. I also believe
that God has been raising up a mighty spiritual army to stand and boldly confront when America’s tumoil comes. The current economic troubles along with what terrorism may bring to our cities in the near future, will hopefully bring about a spiritual
awakening and therefore cause us to return to God. In the O.T., God allowed Israel to go her own way and reap the results of her actions over and over again. His judgment brought them to repentance — hopefully it will do the same for us? Then again, according to biblical prophecy, the one world government must eventually come to fruition. America may be about to fall in line with world govenments to form the final alliance. If that be the case, those who love God will be making their departure soon. I’m looking up and believing that “my redemption grows near.”

After sowing destruction in the South, the storm system moved north, where it buried parts of Wisconsin, Iowa and Kansas under more than a foot of snow. The storm closed schools and businesses, grounded more than 1,000 airline flights and snarled highways.

Do you think that J Forbes Kerry is still the recipient of “swirlies” in the senatorial bathroom?

Is there anything that can’t be blamed on global warming? Doesn’t seem so.
