Proposition 93 aimed to trim two years off the maximum amount of time most legislators could serve, but it also would have given dozens of lawmakers a chance to extend their stays in Sacramento. Fixed it.

Senator Tom McClintock will have to retire this year,
because Prop 93 did not pass. Our district may also lose
Senator Ashburn and Assemblymember Bill Maze.
I think you might agree, this is horrible news.
