Gallup Poll - McCain 41, Romney 25, Huck 21; Hillary 52, Obama 39

PRINCETON, NJ -- The increase in support for Hillary Clinton at the national level that Gallup saw in interviewing conducted Sunday and Monday continued in interviewing Tuesday night. Gallup Poll Daily tracking conducted Feb. 3-5 now includes three consecutive days in which Clinton has done well, giving her a 13-percentage point lead over Barack Obama, 52% to 39%

. . .

In contrast, the nomination preferences of national Republican voters have hardly moved in recent days. As of the Feb. 3-5 Gallup Poll Daily tracking, John McCain leads the Republican field with 41% of the vote, compared with 25% for Mitt Romney and 21% for Mike Huckabee. This is virtually identical to the Gallup Poll Daily tracking figures for the Republican race reported yesterday. In fact, there has been little change in national Republican preferences since Rudy Giuliani exited the race in late January.

Whew! Go, Hillary.
I suspect that it would be easier to defeat Hillary than it would be to defeat that oily scumbag Obama. NEVER underestimate the stupidity of the mindless chattering class, especially those who are stupid enough to be “inspired” by an empty suit who spouts well-orated but wholly meaningless platitudes about “change” and “bringing people together”, and so forth.

Watch the Republican turnout dwindle even further if folks think McCain is a done deal.

It may or may not be easier to defeat Obama. However, what is very clear to me is that he would be vastly more tolerable than her. The Clintons are dangerous.

Their policies would be almost identical especially with rat control of Congress. He may be under more pressure for extreme Marxist policies due to his change mantra.

If that is the feeling, McCain will get it. Games are being played and Romney will stay in it. Alignment has been forged and they are forcing voters to accept what they offer. It is time for change.

Trouble is - what have the R’s learned? They know the media, their propaganda; yet, they listen to it. Some are so unteachable. And they talk about the spineless elected officials. They should fight with the truth endlessly.

If Obama is nominated then it is a twofer - we knock off Hillary FOREVER and we get to defeat Obama now.

He is young. he will be formidable and may be president some day anyway.

God help America. We can only hope that that oily scumbag fades like the hoola hoop, Tickle My Elmo, Trivial Pursuit, and every other fad that comes along every so often and briefly captures the short attention span of the mindless chattering class.

“Their policies would be almost identical especially with rat control of Congress. He may be under more pressure for extreme Marxist policies due to his change mantra.”

Maybe, but the Clintons are masterful at manipulation and would stand a much better chance of getting scary things though the legislature. Two things I think don’t get recognized about the Bill Clinton years. One is that because of a few specific missteps in the beginning of his administration (e.g. ask don’t tell) Clinton had a slow start. I give Dole a lot of credit for this as well. Dole did a good job early on painting Clinton as the inexperienced young guy who was learning on the job. However, all the while we were dealing with someone who could and was putting together a scary machine to perpetuate his power and influence. Then his issues with women were brought into the mix, and that also slowed him down.

But make no mistake. The Clintons are very good at political manipulation. If they get a hold on political power and influence again it will likely be decades before we can undo what they’ll put into place.

Yeah, I prefer Hildabeast over B. Hussein too.

First because she is more beatable as you say.

Second, if we should have the dis-fortune of her in the white house, I prefer her by a cat’s whisker more on war on terror issues then B. Hussein.
