Just read another thread from someone who’s there stating that McCain bussed in supporters. I imagine that’s who’s in the audience.

I’m sure they were all bussed in. Leftists are good at that sort of thing.

Perhaps, but not from this end...

Struck me as a telling slip of the tongue on Coburn’s part.

Conservatives? We don' need no steenking conservatives.

And that's likely just what he's gonna get ;)

Never seen conservatives so riled, not even during amnesty.

With McCain, we get amnesty and SOOOOOOOOOO much more!

yay. Totally underwhelmed

You can tell that the applause is a lot of polite applause combined with some fake, overdone applause coming from a small group.

Note to McCainbots.

You are not doing your god any favors hanging around here screaming insults at everyone who questions your god. I have no doubt many Conservatives will be scared by the rhetoric of the Democrats into supporting McCain.

Right now with your punk bitch posting style, you McCainicans are solidifying attitudes against your god. You would be wise to simply walk away and let Freepers vent.

If it is McCain v. Clinton, do you let Clinton teach the country a lesson about liberalism, or do you pick McCain?? With Clinton as Pres for four years, there would be a conservative in the White House in 2012.

This is going to be a disaster! This doddering shadow cannot even read a speech and look inspiring. The contrast between him and Obama/Clinton will doom him. Dole warmed over. Uuugh!

On Monday I posted the following:

"If John McCain comes out ahead today on Super Tuesday, he had best wash his arse before speaking to CPAC. They'll be tripping over themselves to kiss it."

Earlier today Mitt handed him the soap, and it sounds like the audience is puckering-up.

I suppose that Tom Coburn as well as George Allen - both people lauded as “our guys” in the House and Senate are now going to be tarred as liberals. Or just part of the establishment, right?

I speak only for me. I do not judge others, particularly politicians, by the endorsements they make, but rather the positions they take. I do not know enough of Coburn or Allen to decide where they stand, personally.

I do, however, know where McCain stands on principle issues for me, and I do not see any route to being able to vote for him.

But, again, I only speak for myself.
