You must believe convincing arguments always start off with an insult.

Staying Home = 4 new Dems on the Supreme Court =a continuation of Roe vs.Wade = an immediate pull-out in Iraq = higher taxes...... why don’t you get it?

Hillabitch is his co-worker. He has to hang out with her plenty of times. Obama and Hillary went out of their way to interact with Al Sharpton.

The logic is simple, McCain is a Dem just like Hillary/Obama. If the DNC wins then the Republicans in congress will fight but if McCain wins they’ll go along with every hair brained idea he comes up with. I believe Ann Coulter shares the same position and I suspect she has significantly more insider knowledge than I do.

I personally would like to have a third party option at this point (I would vote for Paul over McCain). This “your throwing away you vote” crap won’t work with two Democrats up for POTUS. McCain will push for amnesty and global warming legislation and likely get what he wants. Hillary/Obama would likely get shutdown in the legislature.

Grid lock is our best hope at this point.

When this whole thing started Julie was supposed to be the establishment choice. Then it was Mitt.

The ones who ran the best campaigns and made the best appeals to the voters were Huck and McNut, and they are the last men standing.

Frankly, I was not really expecting either to have any delegates when this thing started.

Consider this: if it could be shown that Hillary wins by 500,000 votes, and state voting shows that Republicans voted for every office except president . . . and that the presidential vote came up 700,000 votes short for McCain, what do you think conservatives’ power will be then? I think it would be astronomical. It is absolutely essential that we get out and vote for EVERY OTHER OFFICE except McCain, so Hillary doesn’t win a majority of the votes, only a majority of those who vote for president.

I agree and said basically the same in later posts.

They structured the caucuses such that independents had more influence earlier in the cycle thereby removing the most conservative candidates early. I have every confidence Thompson would have done extremely well in the south. Unfortunately he didn’t see it that way because of the early returns.

The GOP selection process should be reserved for GOP members. I also suspect there were a few Dem’s registered as Republicans causing mischief as they are desperate for the white house. Not recognizing there willingness to game the system would be naive (just look at the participation they are seeing at their caucuses).

Oh yes, I am well aware of the new leftist fascists coming to town if Sen. Klinton wins. And you thought the 90’s were bad?

I may be wrong, but I actually trust him when he says he won’t pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Letting the hypocrats back into the whitehouse on the other hand is a slam dunk slap in the face guarantee the troops’ accomplishments are victimized and sabotaged.

The primary process was rigged to give us a ‘mainstream moderate’ candidate. Well they have him now. I never even hjad the chance to vote for the nominee before McCain sealed it. How about one big primary where all states vote on one day. Everyone has a say. It is ridiculous to allow New York and California voters to choose the candidate.

So, there were powerful forces in the Congress, Senate, and the President who were in favor of this crap, and who stopped it? We can do the same with McStain as president, and not have 3 more Ginsbergs on the SCOTUS.

Exactly.

I’ll wait and see. I thought Bush was going to sink us with Meiers, BUT our unified voices stopped that. We need to stop this defeatist attitude. Times may be tough, but it’s way too early to throw in the towel on any of this. :)

Why would a Republican believe anything McCain says? It won’t matter anyway. the mainstream media want McCain as did Democrats because-like Dole- he can not win. Rinos can stop lecturing me. When have they ever achieved any victories? Never! It was Reagan and Gingrich who laid the path to Republican victories. While RINO Republicans have done nothing but collude with Democrats effectively moving the country left and whine and complain bitterly that conservatives are at fault when they deservedly lose elections.
