Yes, you are in good company. Rush hinted at this on Friday when he talked about a McCain presidency.

Mr. Reach across the aisle would not pick a conservative for the Supreme court. He threatened to hold up Robert’s nomination remember because -horrors! Roberts was a member of a conservative think tank.

The Dems do not have a filibuster proof senate right now. If we work to keep it that way, we can thwart a Dem president, but not a President McCain who will strong arm Repubs into going along with liberal legislation.

"Sorry, you can’t frighten me into voting for McCain.

This kind of comment brings to mind the old adage, "Cutting off your nose to spite your face.""

I don't see it as that. I think this is more about, if the Republican party is not going to put forth real conservative leadership, why should we support RINOs? At some point, the Republican party as it is constituted today, needs to either disappear altogether, or move back towards actually representing conservatism.

True, but as you probably know almost twice as many Republican seats are in play...

I know, but if we can hold the seats by turning out maybe just maybe we can stop the Dems. I see Huckabee is doing pretty well. Is it possible he might beat McCain? I don’t like Huckabee, but I could vote for him because of judges.

Realistically, Huckabee can’t beat McCain. The 2 of them represent my 5th & 6th choices. McCain would have a better shot in November...

Ah well, then I might as well vote against Hillary in the Wisconsin primary. I won’t vote for McCain in November so it doesn’t matter.
