BS
“What they say about dolphins; It’s true, it’s true!!!”
IDIOCY.
Even if the danger is totally imaginary, additional taxes are good for everybody.
Ummmmmm.
Ok.
The Price of Oil increased by 250% in the last 3 years.
It never made a dent in the consumption of Oil.
So the premise that a Carbon tax will reduce consumption or carbon emmissions is falsified.
Man-made global warming is total BS in my humble evaluation of the scientific evidence, but I am now a national security "greenie." Give me an electric car built by an American car company and powered by sunlight shining on the lower 48 states!
It’s still a great show. A little eye candy doesn’t hurt.
Hell - it’s a better show now ;)
Strikingly horrible analogy.
I don't know what the guy knows about climate science, (he admits nothing special) but he obviously knows even less about college football.
And he somehow thinks that 'consensus has something to do with the scientific process. That consensus thing went out with Galileo and didn't return to the Western world until a D+ college science student named Al Gore decided it did.
Stop over my place tomorrow. I'll sell you one.
Keep in mind, I don't offer any warranties or anything, but I'll sell you a car that does that.
If it were that damn easy, it would have been done a long time ago. People just don't understand the amazing thing that oil is as far as energy per volume. The only thing that tops it is nuclear.
Oh... BTW, I sell nuclear powered cars too.
No warranty.
The article repeated the assumption regarding our “dangerous” dependence on ME oil. Is the author even aware that we get most of our imported oil from Canada and Mexico? And that the ME has plenty more countries lined up to buy “our” share if we were to boycott them?
And I am beginning to despise “consensus” suggestions; as Michael Crichton said (something to the effect of), science doesn’t need consensus, politics needs consensus. In science, you are either right or wrong. On this point, the climate change alarmists are WRONG.
I don’t disagree about planning for future natural disasters or fuel shortage issues, however, just not within the context of this farce of climate change.
Thanks for the pings!
>>>Do I get any credits for an activated charcoal filter?
Only if installed in your knickers.
As much as I love that Kari, I don’t think THIS “MythBuster” has ANYTHING AT ALL to do with the show.
I see NOTHING to suggest it at this point. Maybe I’m wrong but until someone proves it, I would just put it aside.
And this was written by a libertarian, not a leftist.
