And may I note an ‘au contraire’ to you as well, sir.

I am certain that the word ‘assassin’ was derived from the word ‘hashish’ as in ‘hashishin” or user of hashish.

The substance was given to young warriors to give them a taste of the afterlife to encourage them in later battles.
