I have no doubt that they cut a deal. We’ve seen it many times with the Clintons. Whether it’s Carol Mosely Braun or Wesley Clarke, the Clintons bring people into primary races in order to split constituencies or bolster their own credentials when the faux candidates “drop out” and then turn around and “endorse” Clinton. I do believe, however, that Obama got surprised by his own success and now the deal is off. Bill and Hillary must be livid. Obama better watch his back.
