Would it be offensive to suggest you rather work to rid the Republican Party of McCain prior to the nominating convention in September?

Sounds fine to me. You wouldn't happen to have a realistic plan for ''getting rid of'' McQueeg, would you?

Now, if I were conspiratorially minded, I'd say the proper plan is to A) somehow induce McQueeg to name a conservative as his VP, then B) win the election, then C) somehow arrange for him to drop dead @ 6pm, 20 January 2009.

However, that's not terribly realistic, is it?

I'd rather fight to see McCain name a good Conservative as VP. Either Gov. Sanford of SC or Gov Barbour of MS would be fine with me.
