IMHO, Tammy is one of the most respectable left-of-center feminists out there. Although maybe she doesn’t consider herself a feminist anymore - not sure.
She calls President Bush a “moderate Democrat who happens to be a man of faith”.
I think being a lesbian, feminist, and a second-amendment practitioner, she has a lot to fear from Islamofascism.
She was, at one point, a fan of Tom Tancredo, Rudy Guiliani, and now John Bolton.
She is somewhat all over the road.
Not sure either, but Tammy sure has set the 'liberal feminist' world on fire with her repudiation of such over the past few years ... maybe she's decided to give God a chance instead of always riding with Satan. Just a guess, thats all.
I don’t think she does consider herself a feminist any more, well, not in the traditional sense. I doubt if she considers herself left-of-center, either. Altho maybe her ‘label’ has not caught up with her thinking. She supported Bush over Kerry last time.
I love TB, she has great commentary.
Tammy Bruce told the story on her show how she came to be politically conservative. When Ronald Reagan died, a media liberal left a message on her phone answering machine gloating over his passing. She was horrified and realized just how devoid of morality the left was. The experience made her do a “one-eighty” in her own political orientation. Her insights are interesting because for years she was on the left, and knows their tactics well.
