NR is wrong on this one, because Obama will WIN those supposedly Republican states. Where are they, anyway? I don’t think that there are any “Republican” states any more. Even Kansas is not reliable in a general election, and on-and-off elects Demonrat governors.

McCain will be lucky if he carries a single state.

I think you’re being a little too gloomy in your forecast.

You are drastically overreacting to Obama, the new messiah. He is at a high water mark because this primary is not about issues. No one knows what he stands for yet. He and Clinton are almost identical when it comes to issues, so this primary is about persnality and pandering to various Dem groups. When his record is presented, people are shocked. His record will come out in the general, and it is not going to be good for him.

McCain is strong on most of the traditional Reagan coalition issues. defense, abortion, guns, etc. He is wishy washy on some issues and terrible on others to us, but not to the mainstream voters. Obama is radically left wing on most of the divisive issues in this country. These states he is winning, including the south and western states will almost certainly go GOP in November. Obama can win due to the midwestern swing states and VA, but he will lose the south and western states soundly. That assumes, of course, that McCain runs as good a campaign in the fall as he is now. I think Obama’s lack of experience will come home to roost with a lot of independent thinking voters, especially older voters that always vote.

That is just nonsensical. You need to brush up more on politics. What you said amounts to an ignorant statement.
