Conservatives need to recognize that Liberal Mind Fog is not inconsistent with intelligence. There are many intelligent people who suffer from it; I used to be one. Unfortunately, conservatives who have never suffered from Liberal Mind Fog have no clue about how it works. Many liberals aren't evil. They actually want many of the same things conservatives would want, if there weren't this annoying thing called "reality" in the way. Unfortunately, Liberal Mind Fog makes people blind as to whether any particular government proposal will actually do anything useful toward achieving the stated objective.
