It does seem likely, though I'm a little puzzled as to why they would want to destroy their best friend? If Hillary gets the nod, I could understand her seeking to destroy McCain, but I don't know why the media would join in.
However, if he chooses Huckabee as his VP, I'm voting for the DEM, whoever he is, instead of Huckabee. For me, Huckabee is the living, egotistical, everything-that-Jesus-isn't end of the line.
Admiral James Bond Stockdale, Medal of Honor, senior POW at the Hanoi Hilton, whom I hold in the highest esteem, has said that John McCain behaved with complete honor while under his command.
This is enough for me.
The illegal “immigrant” problem must be addressed. My belief is that McCain would do a better job on this than would Obama, Clinton, or Romney, for that matter.
Any politician must be circumspect when discussing this issue. Look what happened to Buchanan - the propaganda organs just unloaded on him. Look what has happened to George W. Bush. Remember the propaganda circus the media made of Katrina. Remember the evening news propaganda drumbeat about Iraq leading up to the 2006 elections.
It looks like the election will come down to a nut vs a commie. I will probably vote for the nut. I guess. Oh well.
Huck would be the wrong direction. McCain is the ultimate candidate in dire need of coaching and I hope he finally decides to listen. Say and do the right things and in 6 months enough people find something to like in VP, judges, AG or something.
Plus the Dems haven’t drawn a big distinction yet and when they want to concede the terror battle that will get folks going.
Yeah, it's pretty frustrating. I seriously cannot believe that the party has almost nominated him. When Texas has its primary, McCain won't be getting my vote. I at least can do that much.
Our TX ballot will contain everybody, including the dropouts.
I can’t wait to vote for Romney.
Romney will get mine on the Texas primary ballot.
If Texas is winner-take-all, I would think a Huckabee vote would be more apropos. The goal isn't to give Huckabee a majority of delegates, but to stop McCain from getting one. I don't know if Huckabee can take Texas, but if he can it would go a long way toward stopping McCain.
McCain is the nominee.
Everthing from here on out is a protest vote.
And believe me, we disenfranchised states are outraged and enraged.
Of course not, but what’s the difference? Bankrupt and unable to fight wars is bankrupt and unable to fight wars.
Who’s “they”? Apparently, John Bolton is one of “them”, and anybody else who’s endorsing this liberal.
see post 34 for more.
What we have here is a snapshot of the ugliest side of human nature. People love power, no matter what party they’re in.
The pile of major endorsements get higher by the day.
Across America the reality becomes clearer......
Valid Points. All solid reasons why McInsane is my NEXT to last choice.
The dims are far worse. I have seen no logic here that changes that very bad set of circumstances.
I have seen no logic here that changes the irrefutable logic that a failure to vote for the nominee (a 95% traitor to our cause) is an active vote for the opposition (100% traitors to our cause.)
He will be destroyed by the media which raised him to
this level without any effort or lack of effort on the
part of the Republican Party.Yep! They will TRASH McSlime faster than last week's pizza !!!
Having only one important thing that counts on his resumee as remotely conservative wouldn't even begin to suggest he is conservative, but, it would at least be one step in the right direction to trying to claim that he is. Not trying to split hairs here, but there ARE positions that even liberal rats take that can be claimed to be "conservative Republican" positions, but they are, by no means, neither "conservative" nor "Republicans" for doing so.
Nor does it undo McCain-Kennedy--does it bother anyone that the presumed Republican standard bearer joins with the Democrat traitor to destroy the sovereignty and cohesion and rule of law and economic solvency of the Republic....
Good post, Phil! BTTT!
