Like many here, I’m really conflicted on this whole thing.
A big part of me loves to see Hillary get trounced. But she is getting trounced by a guy whose liberal ideas and inexperience scare me.
His popularity also most likely means he’d beat McCain with no problem, if McCain will indeed be the nominee. “Beat McCain” are two words I love to hear, but McCain would be beaten by...a guy whose liberal ideas and inexperience scare me.
If Hillary ends up rebounding and becoming the nominee, it will probably be a closer race between her and McCain, but McCain will likely still lose. And the thought of The Witch and Bubba back in the White House makes me literally sick to my stomach. I think I could handle Obama more easily than another round of the Clintons.
Unless we end up with a brokered convention or some other drastic thing happens, it’s a lose-lose-lose situation. (Actually add another “lose” for Huckabee, although I think I’d rather see him in office than McCain, and certainly more so than any Democrat. But he’s still a “lose” in my book.)
I’m just bracing myself for a rough ride ahead.
And beyond that, Hussein's entire African family are practicing Muzlims...
The Mansion of the President of the United States will be inhabited by Muzlims...
Polls actully show Obama leading McCain by around 5%, and McCain leading Hillary by around 5% - though with the Obama-McCain matchup there are more undecideds. Neither matchip has any of the 3 above 50%.
You misunderestimate McMain
O'bama scares me too - he's a blank slate and people will write what they want to see on that slate, and he will pretend to carry it.
Hillary is a known quantity.
Here's one path out of the swamp:
O'bama leads 54-46 at the convention.
The stupordelegates, unelected by the people, vote for Hillary en masse, giving her the nomination.
She picks white-bread Edwards for VP.
The O'bama delegates, incensed at being shut out once again from the party, burn down the convention building, and Hillary escapes with a flaming pantsuit.
The general public wakes up and votes for Thompson.

Huh?
Oh, I must have been dreaming....
If it’s McCain against Obama in the National election, say hello to President Obama.
