Not even a moderate conservative would vote for Bloomberg. No one with libertarian leanings would, either. Some left-leaning moderates might, but they are the same people who would likely choose Obama or Clinton over McCain. Maybe there are some far-leftists who don’t like Clinton and who are suspicious of the Obama cult who would like Bloomberg. So Bloomberg could only hurt the Democrats. Go, Mike (Bloomberg), go! It is funny how Bloomberg evidently fancies himself as a moderate and thinks some conservatives would vote for him just because he is a full-blown socialist but not quite a communist.

Is there some kind of public groundswell demanding Bloomberg run? I doubt it.

The media will probably try to make it sound like he is a moderate so he will take away GOP votes. But we know he is an out and out lefty. Some say he would get a lot of Republican support but I tend to think those are the suburban moderate squishy types who tend more to vote Demo more now.
