That is a neat picture, where do you get an update?

I would suppose the white areas are snow cover whereas the gray areas are patchy snow or ice, correct?

Most of us who have observed the Chicken Little global warming hysteria can't help but notice the favored term which has come into vogue recently is "climate change."

I was a schoolboy in North Dakota during the March 4-8, 1966 blizzard which covered most of the Dakotas, Minnesota and the southern parts of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. I remember feeling cheated because the four day blizzard started on a Friday and we only got two day off school out of it. By Monday afternoon, the stores begin to open. The first items to get stripped off the shelves were coffee and tobacco.

It was only a year or two after that when schools begin to teach that industrialization were causing a new ice age. The theory was that carbon particles in the upper atmosphere would reflect sunlight away from the earth, providing a thin layer of insulation from the warming rays of the sun. The solution then was exactly the same as the solution proposed now-- more government control, particularly in the free world.
