It's incredibly telling that someone on this board would say this in defense of voting for John McCain while calling people that wouldn't vote for him for the same reason idiots. I blame the educational system, so dont feel bad.

and the answer is: because if a RINO repub is in we will get blamed for everything. If a Demorat is in and of course they will totally screw everything up from the economy to the WOT, we Republicans will be sitting in the catbird seat for years to come. It is so simple if one takes the time to think it out. A “demorepub” like McCain will screw us up for years to come.
