I thought we were CREATING this huge Jihadist army by being in Iraq. Hmm.. maybe I should continue watching the MSM so they can clarify what they meant by that.. so that I will be properly informed.

I'm thinking that a lot of al-Q rank-and-file are opportunistic fighters who are willing to switch to the winning side.
Part of the weakness of al-Q is that they tend to try to supplant (and this antagonize) the local tribal power structures
