If Christians care about maintaining any Holy sights in Jerusalem, they will oppose the division of Jerusalem in any way. Hamas and the other muzzies have proven that they will take any steps they are allowed to in order to remove, destroy or deteriorate any site which is not theirs.
They have even recently created a myth that there was never a Temple built by Solomon and that King David was simply some hilltop village leader. They’ve done this to try to discredit the Temple Mount from being considered a Holy Site for Jews and thus discredit any connection Jews would have to Jerusalem. And in doing so they are attacking Christianity as well since they have to undo the entire Old Testament in order to rewrite history to make Jerusalem a city only of interest to Islam.
If you have any idea what Christianity have faced in Bethelem, Jerusalem is not something anybody should seriously consider handing over to them. I’d rather see the Swiss come in with their soldiers in goofy outfits standing guard at every mosque, temple, shrine and church.
