But also unlike liberals, you can see that other than skin color, there's no "there" there. If he were not black, he would not even be taken as seriously as Kucinich by a political party. He's got nothing but skin color to get him noticed. And a shallow, skin-deep bunch of donkeys might just make this "show about nothing" their nominee.

one thing is all but guaranteed -- that the Republicans' "dirt digging" and "mud slinging" machines will blitz the digital space and the news media with a relentless series of vicious and personal attacks against Obama, designed to arouse the latent prejudices of American voters.

Actually if right-wing groups attack Obama the left will discount the attacks as well as rally behind Obama. Nothing reinforces a leftist's credentials more than upset conservatives.

Latent prejudices is a leftist problem. They try to throw their uncomfortable thoughts onto the right. But Obama doesn't need any Republicans to vote for him and isn't counting on that.

Obama's does not have a white problem. The prejudice problem is mostly with Asian and Hispanic Democrats.

That's one of the nicest things about being Republican. Obama tried to run as a Senator who just happened to be black, rather than as a black man, but the Clintons played the race card in SC and put an end to that. Guess they need dem victim groups to know their place. Sick.
