Dont blame conservatives for not voting for liberals when doing so would make them liberals.Oh, that's just stumb!
The only thing voting for someone makes anybody is a duty fullfilling voter.
Most Reagan Democrats didn't become Republicans.

You’re a joke. Seriously! You’re wrong, not to mention ineffectual, but you add comic relief.
Since you lightened up my evening, here’s some advice for you (no charge). When you pick your screen name at the next forum the Huckster campaign sends you to shill at, pick something besides “Cluster”, OK?
Between that screen name and the excrement you spew, when I see “cluster”, I envision a turd with corn and peanuts in it. Happens every time! It would make it really hard to focus on the substance of your post, if there were any.

You know, I'm with you on the FairTax (or a flat tax - I'd take either), but here I have to say you're wrong. If you refuse to vote for McCain, then you're going to elect a President
Hillary! or President
Obama. Something a Conservative would never accept.
McCain: 82% lifetime American Conservative Union rating
Obama: 8% lifetime American Conservative Union rating
Hillary!: 9% lifetime American Conservative Union rating
"When I began entering into the give and take of legislative bargaining in Sacramento, a lot of the most radical conservatives who had supported me during the election didn't like it.
"Compromise" was a dirty word to them and they wouldn't face the fact that we couldn't get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you don't get it all, some said, don't take anything.
"I'd learned while negotiating union contracts that you seldom got everything you asked for. And I agreed with FDR, who said in 1933: 'I have no expectations of making a hit every time I come to bat. What I seek is the highest possible batting average.'
"If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and that's what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it.
President Ronald W. Reagan
I think I'll agree with Reagan - I'll take the 80% with McCain rather than hold out for the 100% that is NO WHERE TO BE SEEN, and end up with an 8% Obama. THAT is the Conservative position.

The revenge of the RINOs has finally happened.. When RINOs for months even years have denyied that RINOs even exist.. A virtual COUP in the home of "conservatives".. has happened.. The arch RINO Mclaim has performed a COUP in the Republican Party..
Finger pointing is his greatest weapon.. denying that there even is a such thing as a RINO... The base is not fooled however.. The democrats however are getting much joy from this.. Its a master stroke by the penetrators of the republican party.. The RINOs are running wild dressed as conservatives..
Conservatives are in total disarray and confusion.. Denying the presence of RINOs has finally come home to roost.. The Trojan Horse in the republican party has disgorged its treasonous load.. Party stalwarts are falling on their swords in recapitulation..
She who should not be named or the black Norbit will become the next American President.. The arch RINO will lead the remaining conservatives in one final Bonzai attack into the killing fields of immense main stream media propaganda..
Its a sight to behold..

There are a lot of Freepers in Virginia who did not bother to vote for Huckabee, but instead voted for Obama. I’ve seen their confessions. We could have had a brokered convention, but instead, because of people who switched parties for the day, we are doomed to get a McCain/Obama match.

I am a conservative and I will vote for McCain if my choice is Obama or Clinton. Simple math. Sorry he is not what I wanted on all issues but plain and simple, he will not be the liberals that will destroy this country.
I fully agree with you. While McCain is definitely not the ideal choice, sitting home and not voting is like putting a vote in for the dims and there is no way I am doing that. I am not willing to put the fate of our country in the hands of Osama Obama. It is bad enough that the sheeple are blindly following him as if he is the 2nd coming, yet not one of them can name a single accomplishment or what he really stands for. He may be a great speech maker but it is all hype and ZERO substance. I can go out there and say "we need this" and "this should be changed"-- anyone can, but we have yet to hear a plan for HOW he'd do it any different and defintely nothing about how he'd do it better. He has no clue.
It would be a very sad day in America if we had to hand the Presidency over to the dims, but a real NIGHTMARE if the POTUS is Osama Obama or Mrs. Clintoon. So do not stay home election day just to protest, it will only hurt us all.

How about trying again? Clean up the spelling, lose the caps and make some sense next time. You might be easier to understand.
Thanks.

I can see the first year of a
Hillary! or
Obama Administration passing:
- Single Payer Nationalized Health Care
- Gay Rights Legislation (legalize gay marriage)
- Euthenasia Legislation
- Recind the Embryonic Stem Cell ban
- Bring back abortions overseas
- Recind the Bush tax cuts
- Enact the "Fairness Doctrine" for media
- Two more Ruth Bader Ginsburg's on the Supreme Court
And that's just for starters. The ONLY thing holding back Pelosi and Reid right now is the threat of a Presidential veto. With the Dems controlling the Oval Office, that will no longer be a stumbling block.
This election is about more than a few "holier-than-thou" supposed Pharisical "Conservatives" keeping their own conscience "pure". It's about preventing a further lurch to the Left. Holding on for the next elections.
I wish every one of these "NEVER McCAIN!" folks would go and read that quote by Reagan that I posted above. Take the best you can get and keep fighting for more.
Now, if these folks want to claim that Reagan was NOT a Conservative...

Amen! I totally agree with you! A true conservative would not let a liberal take over the important job of POTUS at any cost! Don't sit home as a protest and then complain later that we have a liberal in the White House. My God! I shudder to think!
