True . . . but the period doesn't come until after you say how big the black turnout is.

In fact if you consider that 8% of the potential black turnout would go Republican, if Hillary were to steal the nomination from Obama (and he not accept the VP slot) I would expect the same 8% Republican vote might turn out, and ten or twenty percent of the black Democratic turnout to stay home. So it that sense, it's possible for McCain to get a little higher percentage of the actual turnout without attracting any actual new black voters. That could happen.

I don’t think you understand. The numbers will always be the same. It doesn’t matter how many people turn out. It’s the number of votes.

The number of voters does not always equal the number of votes.
