“U.S. offering friendship to Serbia” 14 February 2008 | 11:49 | Source: Beta, Tanjug WASHINGTON -- Condoleezza Rice says that America hopes Serbia will accept the solution for Kosovo’s future status.

Condoleezza Rice (FoNet)

The U.S. secretary of state told Congress yesterday that America was offering friendship to Serbia at a time when Kosovo Albanian leaders were preparing to declare independence from Serbia.

Association Press reiterated that Serbia had stated that it would never recognize the independence of the province, which has an Albanian population of some 90 percent.

AP adds that the U.S. and a majority of EU member-states are set to recognize Kosovo's independence.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will meet with Rice in Washington today, with Kosovo expected to be one of the main topics up for discussion.

Condaleza Rice is irrelevant in all international matters.

She is not incharge of the state department and her statement is an irrelivancy made only with the permission of the desk jockeys who are actually running this future bloodbath.

This is about diminishing the power of the USA with this idiotic move.

BELGRADE (Reuters) - Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica told Serbs for the first time on Thursday the imminent loss of their historic province of Kosovo was a reality, but in a televised address he vowed the nation would never accept it.

And there you have it, Serbia's leadership inadvertently acknowledging what's been generally known outside of Serbia for these last couple of decades: The Serbs are incapable of accepting reality.

Ouch.

Someone educate me on this. I’ve been more sympathetic to Serbia after we faced Muslim terrorism. Am I wrong.

Of course - in your world any decisions made which go against the perceived interests of Serbia are both stupid and treasonous.

At some point, however, you're going to have to come to terms with the State Department being responsible for forwarding American interests, rather than Serbian ones, and that those two sets of interests are irreconcilable in some areas.

Until then, given the Serbs (and their partisans) predilection for eschewing a reality-based worldview, and propensity to confuse their interests with ours, you'll have to forgive me if I continue to not accord your opinion too much weight.

In 1940-es Hitler was posing outside Eifell tower, Paris..
Than was reality. Auschwitz was also reality...

Reality is there to be changed.

Well...
America and EU are building a new islamic state on Serbian Christial soil.
What America is doing is saying “We are taking a part of ypur land, and here is a hand, so that we show you there are no hard feelings.”

Advancing the cause of Jihad is not in the interest of the United States, Dhimmi. Opposing Jihad IS IN OUR interests and only those who want to sell out this nation support an independent Albanian Aztlan in Kosovo.

I agree with your analysis and have long believed that we are on the wrong side in this one - How far away is the USA from something similar, like Mexico staking its claim in California/Arizona.

Alas, kronos, sadly for you it can't be changed by profligate posting on an internet discussion forum.

We'll have no one to blame but the Dhimmi enemy within our own borders (see posts by Hopeless) when the Mexican illegal immigrants follow the path used by the Albanian illegal immigrants in Kosovo.

“At some point, however, you’re going to have to come to terms with the State Department being responsible for forwarding American interests, rather than Serbian ones, and that those two sets of interests are irreconcilable in some areas.”

OK, Nicky, is it the policy of the Bush Administration to take out Orthodox Christian communities and support sex slaving, drug running Mohammedan terror organizations because that’s what the Saudi paymasters want or is it just something idiots in the State Dept or, say a former ambassador to a Balkan country who was a laughing stock at his post (and still is; they say he’s a sissy), who come up with the idea that destroying Orthodox Christian communities is in the best interests of the United States?

When push comes to shove and the other Balkan states decide to solve the Albanian problem once and for all (because that’s just what’s going to happen), is it Washington’s plan to bomb Athens to save Bush’s Mohammedans?
