Italians rally against abortion laws

ROME: Hundreds of women rallied in Rome and Naples yesterday to protest against the police interrogation of a woman immediately after she had had an abortion and against election campaigns by conservatives to try to tighten Italy's law permitting abortion.

In Rome, Health Minister Livia Turco came down from her office in a show of solidarity with the demonstrators, who held placards with slogans such as "women do the choosing".

State TV said one woman was detained by police after the protesters moved their rally to a square in central Rome.

Ms Turco denounced an incident earlier in the week in a Naples hospital, where police rushed in to interrogate a woman only minutes after she had aborted a 21-week-old fetus.

The 39-year-old has said she had the abortion days after she learned that the fetus had a grave genetic defect. Reports said the fetus was seized as evidence.

The investigation came amid a drive to limit the point in pregnancy when abortions are allowed.

Silly me. I thought they might be rallying for strict limits on abortion, being as how Italy will be Moslem-majority in a generation.

Italy will be Moslem-majority in a generation

***************************

This fact is subordinate to the abundant and varied sex lives of these women.

The day the “Society Of Chaste Female Virgins” comes out FOR abortion rights, is the day I’ll eat my words.

Spaniards are actually rallying AGAINST abortion today. There’s some hope for the Mediterranean yet!

It is unspeakably sad that a once Catholic country that took great pride in la famiglia now has one of the lowest birthrates in the world. Western culture went down the drain when Catholics, including many clergy, rejected Humanae Vitae because they knew better, just like Adam and Eve.

True, but that’s because here, we have welfare and tax credits. In their ancestral hell-holes, its because of agriculture. Also, ‘masculinity’ is defined by not only how many children a male can sire, but how many male children. So, in countries like Saudi Arabia, it is very normal for males to have 30-50 children. They laugh that in the non-OPEC Arab countries, such as Lebanon and Syria, the males typically have no more than 2 wives, if that, and only about 10-14 children a pop. The cherry on top is that Yasser Arafat said, “The best weapon we have is the womb of the Palestinian woman.”

They have that many children not because they can’t have abortions, but because they seek to colonize us and convert us to Islam.

Given that the number of people protesting abortion laws in Italy numbered only in the hundreds, the title of the report is misleading, in my opinion, seemingly an attempt to make a minority faction appear as the majority.

We seem to be in perfect agreement on the general demographic trend.
