The cops are part of the problem and deserve to be shamed. I saw a video clip of a smarmy Berkly cop refusing to enforce the law, saying he was neutral. Neutrality to the cops means standing around wacthing the law being broken?

“Boycotting area businesses would serve mainly to hurt friends and relatives of currently serving troops.”

Which is true.. but madison.. its the old way to send a messgage to the cities that their actions affect the businesses in their districts which also affects their citizens.

Its about the only effective way to get a city governments attention. I am not even a ex-marine.. and this whole issue ticks me off.

They had no say? The wrong people? These are elected officials. Of course they had a say in the matter. And even if an owner of a business happened to vote for the loser, its a casualty of war. It happens. Boycotting is a tool, and a very effective one.

“There is no reason to go after the businesses in those cities, unless they were complicit in denying the Marines what was due them.”

Sorry, Thats not how it works. If the business and employees of them allow A-holes like this to stay in office they are part of the problem.

If you cut their bottom line they will scream to those that can change it.

It sets an example to other cities for what not to do.

Did any of you see the video on Fox News sometime this morning?

I only caught a quick glimpse but the police and Code Pink apparently had a dust up. If I caught it correctly, code pink had put signs on some buildings and refused to remove them. The cops got a little physical with them.

Donuts, coffee and Vietnamese food are about all that is left in the Berkeley contribution to commerce. Oh and useless college grads.

Sorry, businesses, but you better keep this in mind the next time those pols come to you for a campaign contribution. And you better let your employees know that layoffs are just around the corner if the politicians they elect keep it up.

“Two of their biggest sponsors appear to be Bayer and Wells Fargo Bank.”

Great place to start. Let those companies know they will be boycotted until they break all ties to Berkely.

I am fed up with trying to be nice to the leftists, and their supporters, and the silent idiots that have allowed them to take over places like Berkeley, Boulder, Cambridge, and so on.

The chambers of commerce are just as much to blame for this treasonous and seditious conduct as the so-called moderate mooselimbs that cannot quite seem to speak out against the barbarous, inhumane actions of their brothers in islam.

The only way to deal with these scum ( the Code Pinks, the Berkeley City Council, the Boulder morons) is to kill them, and the more barbarous and inhumane the execution the better.

These folks claim to be in the right and protected by the First Amendment. They are traitors and have quite openly expressed their contempt for the U.S.A. So do you treat them as equals and grant them the rights of due process, which they will use against you, with the media as their lapdogs? Or do you just exterminate the cockroaches?

I think you know what my answer is. Enough of this. It’s time to get real and time for them to suffer conequences.

...why shouldn't we hold voters accountable for what their politicians do?

Indeed, if you run a business and don't support the clowns in your venue, be it state, city or hamlet, either move, or start selling to customers who support your clowns. This seems like such an obvious solution.
