It would be great to post a list so people could avoid buying them without having to check the fine print on everything.
I posted a list on one of the other threads about this.
Start with Glass Pro, APL Shipping, and Swatt & Assoc. AIA Architects.
There is no reason to go after the businesses in those cities, unless they were complicit in denying the Marines what was due them.
As in the case of Toledo, Ohio...the mayor acted strictly on his own, blaming everyone except himself for dissing the Marines. The whole deal was set up ahead of time with no argument from businesses or the Toledo Police Department. People in the area have welcomed the Marines and armed forces. The incident lies squarely on Mayor Carleton S. Finkbeiner’s shoulders and no one else’s.
Boycotting area businesses would serve mainly to hurt friends and relatives of currently serving troops.
“Has anyone compiled a list of products that are made in Berkeley CA?”
Other than flatulence, not much.
The Chamber’s web site has a list of their members. Most are local so it’s not much that can be done with them unless you live near there. Two of their biggest sponsors appear to be Bayer and Wells Fargo Bank. Could be a good place to start - if they lose business across the country to support one group they might think twice.
I'm starting a BOYCOTT BERKELEY ping list and I'll add you.
What does Berkeley make?
Berkeley makes conservatives mad.
