MOSUL, Iraq – Two terrorists detonated suicide vests, killing three Iraqis and one Iraqi Policeman outside a mosque in Tal Afar Feb.15. Sixteen Iraqis were injured during the prayer time explosion.
“Our condolences go out to the families of those who lost loved ones in this senseless act,” said Maj. Gary Dangerfield, 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment spokesman.
Information from the city’s mayor indicates the damage and loss of life would have been much greater if the terrorists were able to enter the mosque and detonate their vests.
After being identified as terrorists with suicide vests, the IP engaged them with small-arms fire outside the mosque, preventing entry inside and further loss of life.
“Our praise goes out to the Iraqi Police for stopping the terrorists and avoiding an even greater tragedy from occurring. The Iraqi Security Forces in Tal Afar have proven once again that they control they city, and any attempt by the insurgents to intimidate or harm its citizens will fail,” said Dangerfield.
The incident occurred at approximately 20 minutes after prayer started.

yeah, keep that up suicide jihadis, each of these atrocities acts as a recruitment event for the Iraq police and army, bringing Iraq closer to sanity. I envision a future where our bases in Iraq function like our bases in Germany, S. I also heard that 37 people were killed in Pakistan at a voting office.
The drive bys won’t mention these horrific suicide bombings unless they’re in Iraq and/or Afghanistan.
I’m also afraid this will be with us for our lifetimes and beyond now.

Hard to reach any other conclusion
Based on how they treat God’s innocents on earth
