With all due respect, Posner’s book has been deconstructed. He only uses “evidence” that upholds his position that Oswald acted alone.

Verses what? Theories and unproven facts? Posners most damning evidence is the Zapruder film itself. Its a frame by frame timeline. The limo shows connelly was not sitting directly to JFK's front, but to the right and lower in a rumble seat. The bullet holes in both JFK and Connellys shirts line up to what the Zapruder shows. I've seen real recreations through ballistic gel that show that not only can the shot be made, but the bullet came out nealy pristine. Problem is that no one will except that one lone nut pulled this off! In damn near 50 years, no one has been ab to prove anything other than the obvious, Oswald did it and did it alone.

That transcript sounds legit, not like something written decades later.

Lee: You said the boys in Chicago want to get rid of the Attorney General.
Ruby: Yes, but it can't be done ... it would get the Feds into everything.
Lee: There is a way to get rid of him without killing him.
Ruby: How's that?
Lee: I can shoot his brother.
Ruby: Bush said he wants that.
Lee: That high school kid in Texas?
Ruby: Yeah, he’s the devil behind everything. There’s some fat gradeschool kid in Flint Michigan who’s going to blow his cover in forty years.
Lee: The fat kid's a hero…
Ruby: Courageous too. By the way, the New York Giants are going to win the Super Bowl in 2008.
Lee: No way.
Ruby: Way.

Have anything to do with one of JFK’s bedmates having her apartment robbed, only thing taken was her diary.

I believe you are referring to Ben Bradlee's (the Washington Post editor) sister-in-law who was found dead on the towpath in DC.

Weird stuff.

I have all of the late Harold Weisberg's books which arrived with a nice penned note from his wife.

Gerald Posner was used by Mike Wallace in his 60 Minutes hit piece on Chris Ruddy and his book The Strange Death of Vincent Foster.

Posner surfaces to gloat over a finding of "death by natural causes" when Carlos Ghigliotti the Davidian FLIR consultant was found dead. Claimed to have evidence of 200 shots fired into the building the final day.

Craig Roberts' book offers a conversation with Hathcock:

One fascinating paragraph in Kill Zone: A Sniper Looks at Dealey Plaza by Craig Roberts occurs on page 89:

According to my friend, Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock, the former senior instructor for the U.S. Marine Corps Sniper Instructor School at Quantico, Virginia, it could not be done as described by the FBI investigators. Gunny Hathcock, now retired, [since died] is the most famous American military sniper in history. In Vietnam he was credited with 93 confirmed kills—and a total of over 300 actual kills counting those unconfirmed. He now conducts police SWAT team sniper schools across the country. When I called him to ask if he had seen the Zapruder film, he chuckled and cut me off. “Let me tell you what we did at Quantico,” he began. “We reconstructed the whole thing: the angle, the range, the moving target, the time limit, the obstacles, everything. I don’t know how many times we tried it, but we couldn’t duplicate what the Warren Commission said Oswald did. Now if I can’t do it, how in the world could a guy who was a non-qual on the rifle range and later only qualified ‘marksman’ do it?”

Roberts' site is RifleWarrior.com

That “transcript” sounds bogus as hell.

Yeah, the poster saw fit to leave out this rather important part: "Terri Moore, Mr. Watkins' top assistant, said she believes the transcript is part of a movie that Mr. Wade was working on with producers."

Somebody should notify Mr. Wade that he can’t write worth a cr@p.
