You’re so right. I would have been considered a transgender! I rode horses and wanted to be Tonto ( I had blonde hair and blue eyes - go figure). Then at the right age I discovered boys and gave up my bow and arrows. This is ridiculous and disturbing. Every little boy who plays with dolls or little girl who wants to be a cowboy when she grow up will be under scrutiny. Colorado idiots ride again!

But you’re right. I was (and am) a total Tomboy. Never occurred to me that I wasn’t a GIRL, though.
I feel for this f-ed up kid. Why aren’t Social Services called in on cases like this? What happened to an eight year old that makes s/he want to “disappear” into the other sex? Sexual abuse by a parent or other TRUSTED adult?
