While the overwhelming majority of voters say they could vote for a woman or an African-American, just 56% believe their family, friends, and co-workers would be willing to do the same. Among senior citizens, just 41% believe their peers would be willing to vote for a woman. Forty percent (40%) believe their peers would be willing to vote for an African-American.

15% .........would not vote for an African-American.

I have never thought Rasmussen polls were particularly accurate, but this takes the cake. Did they really think that, in this day and PC age, anyone was going to admit to voting against someone because of the color of their skin? The 9 percent of Dems who did must be brain dead. This has got to be a joke.

Since there are far more racists per capita in the Democratic Party than anywhere else in the US, I'll bet it's a much higher percent than this. Maybe 9% were honest enough to admit it.

My neighbor, a liberal democrat, is contemptuous of women and hates black people. In 2004 he had Kerry for President signs in his yard, but this year I’ll bet he won’t even vote. Since he’s detestable for other reasons as well, I’m delighted by his dilemma!

Unsurprising. It was Democrats standing behind firehoses and police dogs in the South in the 1960s. It was Democrats who fought against the Civil Rights Act and all civil rights legislation. It was Democrats in the North who would beat the unsuspecting black who made the mistake of wandering into a white Chicago neighborhood. And it was Democrats who formulated Jim Crow laws. Democrats are the racists, really. As they feel that blacks can't manage without the help of white folks in Washington, why should they feel that a black could make a good president?

I think he asked Democrat....then he asked Moderates.....then he asked Nation Wide Voters.....I guess tyou could extrapolate the number from this data....(for the record - I suspect that Republicans or Conservatives would be similiar to Moderates......assuming a 33% split between Dems, Moderates and Repubs.)

And that is the dirty little secret of the Democratic Campaign, not only the 9%, but the reasons why Hispanics are going for Hilde has little to do with “they love the Clinton’s due to immigration” as Chrissy Matthews (or is that *issy?) likes to say.

Bubba Clinton did not do much concerning illegals, and Hilde and Che’s record is the same...hmm...the reason could be the elusive obvious....
