There the Huckasmuck goes. We can thank him for pealing off the evangelicals and making it impossible for Hunter or Thompson to amass enough support. Now he wants our support? Didn’t he say he wanted to build a bridge between liberals and conservatives? Why doesn’t he go back to Arkansas where he belongs. He at least doesn’t have to live in fear of one of the 1000+ pardons he granted while governor.

When Duncan Hunter was in the race with 1% support, Huckabee was likewise wallowing in the single digits. It wasn’t Huckabee’s fault. Huckabee only got support very late in the game, after his good showing at the value voters conference and after Thompson let down the evangelical christians with his comments about his own faith and practice.
