....but I’m beginning to believe that we do indeed have an extreme right....

As just one example of many, what is "extreme" about being against the absolute scam that is "global warming"? Do you really want people like me to give votes and encouragement to Al Gore Lite with an (R) hanging around it's neck? Do you approve of future taxes and regulations on something that doesn't even exist?

Any Bible experts know what he is talking about?

I think the Bible says very clearly who "he who wrestles with us strengthens us."

I'm no Bible expert, but perhaps he is misquoting Genesis 32:24-25 where Jacob is wrestling with God/an angel/a man.

"24And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him."

This is taken from the online King James Version, but I couldn't find "he who wrestles with us, strengthens us" in any online version at BibleGateway.com.

I love how these liberals want to spend OUR money, only to find out they are often on the receiving end of the trough--or skimming in the process. And McCain supporters want to sell this guy as a fiscal conservative???? NOT!
Mayors Voice Hope for the Cities With Bush Assuming Presidency
NEW YORK TIMES, January 19, 1989

The nation's mayors said today that they were looking with hope to President-elect George Bush after an eight-year fiscal drought under the Reagan Administration.

The mayors' optimism was fueled this morning when Jack F. Kemp, Secretary-designate of Housing and Urban Development, told the group, "Be assured that you're going to have a friend in the Cabinet."

Mr. Kemp described himself as "a big L - Liberal" and "a bleeding heart conservative" on urban issues, adding, "I'm going to be an activist; I'm going to be an advocate."

"I want to wage war on poverty," Mr. Kemp said, urging a "bipartisan, public-private, Federal-state-local partnership."

McCain made a career out of attacking the current president for six or more years.

Did he do it out of principle? That makes him a liberal RINO Arlen Specter Republican.

Or did he do it so he could win the election this year?
That makes him a lying political schemer.

Either way McCain looks a lot less like Winston Churchill.

“Any conservative not voting for McCain...”

Dems and the MSM will be all exctited about their candidates.

McCain’s supporters will keep imploring conservatives, “Come on, please hold your nose and vote for him.”

Swing voters will swing where they see the wind blowing. Who do you think wins?

It’s clear his own party doesn’t want him. He won states by a weak plurality, and was probably not 2nd or 3rd choice for many who didn’t vote for him. The best chance for the GOP presidency would be for the convention to nominate someone else. I don’t see that happening, and I don’t see us winning.

Blame for this circumstance rests squarely on those who supported McCain and on those Republicans who pursued something other than conservatism in the primary race, those who let the MSM lead them around by the nose with polls, chasing various RINO’s in scattered directions. Conservatism is the only thing that can unite and galvanize the GOP. That’s just a practical fact to be observed, whether anyone likes it or not.

Thanks. That’s clarifying. An endorsement from Kemp is another mark against him.

Keep reading. There is a whole collection.

Apparently “Tulane” didn’t want to defend it.

The corruption did it for me.
Dissing Hunter and Tancredo is only expected from the open-borders crowd.

Lay off mccandycain? Hell no! That would make him eligible for unemployment. Instead, I’ll go up to his face and say, “You’re fired!”

The law already requires our officials to secure the border. They should have secured the border a long time ago, regardless of any amnesty.

That can't be said enough. That's why any talk of negotiating immigration laws is for fools. We want CURRENT LAW enforced. We have already won the legislative debate on that matter, years ago. It's simply the executive branch's sworn duty to uphold that law, and there's nothing to debate about that.

Thanks. It’s truly amazing how much there is out there. It’s just hard to remember it all. I had forgotten that. That alone should discredit any opinions Kemp might hold today, having not recanted that monumental blunder.
