I don’t tell Jack Kemp what to do, and he does not tell me what to do, or not do. Who died and made him king?
You and the GOP are in for another round of learning the lesson you ignored in the past. Losers always blame someone or something else rather than face the reality that they own the lose.
You see the clintons and the dems do it all the time.
Then, of course there are dimwits like yourself that have never had a clear thought in there heads long enough not to compromise any shred of basic belief in anything except a political party that would dump it's supporters in a blind rush to obscurity.
I voted for Perot twice because the GOP did not put up a candidate worth supporting. Now I will either write in or not vote for anyone for President for the same reason.
Thanks strongbow.
All that really needs to be said here is: "Dole/Kemp"
That says it all.
What's really hysterical is that this clown is trying to appeal to a particular wing of the conservative base....Conservative Christians.
It's like tossing out a serious "moon made of swiss cheese" comment at an astronomer's convention.
"What? What? You mean they CAUGHT that?"
It's this kind of garbage that convinces me one more once that these yardbirds are just using us.
If someone wants to quote Scripture and they aren’t entirely certain about the verse, then all they need to do is get out a Bible and quote it properly. You can use King James, NIV, Douay-Rheims or any other translation and, except for the “new age” translations of late, I don’t think anyone will be offended by any minor differences in translation.
In this day and age with the internet it is incredibly easy to find any passage you are looking for or to correctly attribute and quote something that is not in the Bible.
Kemp knows the audience he is trying to reach and he should know that we will know if he is trying to pull the wool over our eyes. This is just another example of the GOP telling conservatives that we need to just accept our fate and do it with a smile on our face.
I’ve NEVER voted for a known liberal (I’ve been duped a time or two) and I’m not going to start now. In my opinion, McCain is not only a liberal, he also exhibits a dangerous level of mental instability.
I have those concerns too. OTOH, I would probably crawl across a mile of broken glass to vote against Hillary, and I would probably crawl across half a mile of broken glass to vote against Obama.
If my vote doesn't keep either of those people from getting elected, then I've wasted my vote.
There is one exception to that in my mind P-M, and that's if a real, serious, viable opportunity to lauch an opposition group to the dems and the rinos presents itself.
It it were TRULY possible to achieve such a thing, I'd be willing to sacrifice one or two elections to get there.
For what it’s worth, I think McCain’s chances against Hillary are at best 50/50. I don’t think he has any hope of beating Obama.
Look at 1976, what would have happened if Ford had won? The economy still would have been in the doldrums because Ford wasn’t proposing anything. We would have gone into 1980 with the GOP being blamed for everything and the nominee would have been Ford or Dole. We NEVER would have had a Reagan presidency.
Plus, who will conservatives in Congress have an easier time fighting against, a liberal Democrat or a liberal Republican?
However, the “dangerous level of mental instability” that is our and we know is better than the “dangerous level of mental instability” that is not ours and we don’t know. The only people who benefit from the latter, as the Clinton years have shown, are the talk show hosts who derive fodder for the next show at the expense of loyal listeners.
We’ll lay off when he opens up ANWR and stops coddling muslims like in Kosovo. And stops supporting hideous technology to extermihnate fetuses for research.
Until then, the GOP can kiss off.
You’re absolutely right, thanks for the correction.
Did Sean Hannity listen? LOL!
“Mr Kemp is reported to have had several contracts with Mr Vincent and the two spoke at least once a month for several years about Mr Vincent’s desire to improve US-Iraqi relations. Mr Kemp’s lawyer — Lanny Davis, a former special counsel to President Clinton — says Mr Kemp approached Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of State Colin Powell about Mr Vincent’s proposals, but was rebuffed each time.”
Utilizing a Clinton Lawyer. Nothing left to say.........
“Do we have a stronger, more conservative Congress and Senate than we did in 1988?
Do we have better, more conservative candiates now, after 20 years of doing it your way?”
You’ve said that before. Still haven’t heard anyone answer yes.
Hey, at least he had a slogan.
yeah, we’ll lay off when he signs an agreement to deport the 30 million illegal aliens leaching off this countries resources. GET THEM OUT OF HERE.
Do we have better, more conservative candiates now, after 20 years of doing it your way?
Youve said that before. Still havent heard anyone answer yes.
As Rush says, brevity is the soul of wit.
I think this is the quickest way to get to the heart of the matter, which is that we are are on the wrong road, and McCain is the newest stop along that road.
If we don't put a stop to this by derailing McCain, our next stop is going to be........ what? someone even further left?
I plan to keep asking, and I hope others do so too.
As opposed to Reagan who actually had an economic PLAN that worked perfectly.
The Republican party is nothing but Liberal lite. No way in hell would I ever vote for that.
