The CSPI is full of cow poop.
Aside from the fact that I can read labels just fine and know that sunflower oil and cow brains are not the same thing, the CSPI is given to exaggeration and stretching the facts.

It might be nice to have a list of the ingredients which may be derived from cow brains. Apparently one of them is the supplement phosphatidylserine.

My brother, a veterinarian, refers to calves liver as ‘blood filter’. He doesn’t eat it anymore, not since vet school.

If the CSPI is ever correct, it is as a result of “stopped clock syndrome”. They are incredibly willing to bend research to their own devices and are very much in favour of having the government more involved in every aspect of our lives.

Humans have been ‘wearing’ the animals they kill since the beginning of humanity.

For the same reason a dog lies down in the scent from a dead animal. To ‘hide’ our ‘odor’.

Actually, Humans give off many scents, but the bad ones aren’t our scent. It’s the millions of creatures living on your skin that crap all over the place.
